Kurt Angle & Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman & Kane (5-on-3 Handicap Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match)
The Shield reunion might be on hold, but that doesn’t mean Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins are going to war alone. With Roman Reigns unable to join his fellow Hounds of Justice at WWE TLC, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is competing in a WWE ring for the first time in over 11 years to help the Raw Tag Team Champions wage war against the overwhelming team of Braun Strowman, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Kane, Cesaro & Sheamus in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match.
The Olympic Hero’s return to the ring comes at perhaps the most unexpected, yet exciting, point in recent WWE history. The Shield had just reunited in earnest after weeks of prodding at the hands of Intercontinental Champion The Miz, who had needled Reigns over the fact that his brothers in black couldn’t hang in today’s WWE. The A-Lister found himself proven wrong in short order, as Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose got the band back together to brutalize both Miz and Cesaro & Sheamus, who had recently battled over Team Red’s tag titles with The Kingslayer and The Lunatic Fringe.
Ambrose’s over-enthusiastic declaration that The Shield could take on up to five competitors and still win came back to haunt him — twice. First, when Miz pressured Angle, acting in his capacity as Raw General Manager, to add Braun Strowman (a recent Reigns rival) to his squad, and second, when Ambrose reiterated his claims and Strowman defeated Reigns in a Steel Cage Match to add a fifth man to their team, which turned out to be a returning Kane.
Unfortunately, with the stage set for an epic 5-on-3 collision, unforeseen circumstances forced Reigns to the sidelines. But now, Angle, who has dealt with Miz’s animosity for months on end, will spell the former WWE Champion and has a chance to show the Intercontinental Champion that his time hasn’t passed by.
Don’t miss a moment of the action at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.
Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James
Mickie James will have the opportunity to reclaim her former glory and capture her seventh Women’s Title when she steps into the squared circle against the very formidable Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at WWE TLC tonight.
Ironically, when Mickie returned to WWE this past January, it was to help Alexa retain the gold when she was part of SmackDown LIVE. However, the reemerging Superstar quickly learned what so many ladies have found out the hard way: The “goddess of WWE” only has one loyal friend where the title is concerned: herself. While that approach might not seem so nice, you can’t argue with the results of a proven winning strategy.
However, after retaining her Raw Women’s Title in a Fatal 5-Way Match in September at WWE No Mercy, Alexa once again drew the ire of the celebrated competitor when she made the mistake of bad-mouthing Mickie on a post pay-per-view edition of Raw Talk. Dismissing Mickie as being an “old lady” the following week on Raw, her words were met with a pair of slaps and a fierce kick that sent Little Miss Bliss tumbling out of the ring.
Following some backstage antics at her expense one week later, Mickie went on to fight a tough battle against Alexa’s on again/off again best friend, Nia Jax. When Alexa got involved, Mickie walked away with the victory by disqualification.
In the aftermath, Mickie’s impressive victory over Nia as well as her decorated history led Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to award the former champion a title match tonight.
Like her or hate her, outspoken four-time Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss can back up every word she says in the ring. However, does Mickie James still have what it takes to overcome the crafty champion and reclaim her spot at the top of the mountain? Find out what will happen, tomorrow at 8 ET/5 PT.
“The Demon” Finn Bálor vs. AJ Styles
Finn Bálor was set to unleash his Demon against the supernatural. Now, he must instead contend with the Phenomenal.
The first-ever Universal Champion was originally set to add another chapter to his escalating, macabre rivalry with Bray Wyatt by pitting The Demon against Sister Abigail at WWE TLC. But, with The Reaper of Souls sidelined for medical reasons, SmackDown LIVE’s AJ Styles has agreed to cross the battle lines and fight The Demon instead.
The WWE Universe had speculated on eventually seeing this bout, given that Bálor and The Phenomenal One briefly crossed paths in Japan before coming to WWE. It is a dream match in every sense of the term, but given Bálor’s mastery of both the mat and mind games, it’s quite possible that it will turn to a nightmare for Styles in short order. Now, these two passing ships are finally set on their collision course, and WWE may never be the same once the dust settles.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto vs. Enzo Amore
Enzo Amore has invoked his rematch clause and will challenge WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladder and Chairs tonight
Originally, Kalisto was set to challenge previous champion Amore at WWE TLC, but The Certified G unexpectedly found himself defending the title against the Lucha sensation in a Lumberjack Match on Raw after expressing his discontent to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle. Unfortunately for The Realest Guy in the Room, who had few allies around the ring, he found himself on the losing end after Kalisto connected with an astonishing Salida del Sol from the top rope to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Wasting little time, the former champion confronted Kalisto on WWE 205 Live and opted to use his rematch clause at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
Enzo truly changed the Cruiserweight landscape when he captured the WWE Cruiserweight Title from Neville at WWE No Mercy with the help of a savage low blow. Though his actions were underhanded, the new titleholder wasted no time returning to Raw the following night to claim that he had single-handedly put the entire division on the map.
However, Enzo’s mouth got him into serious trouble, as the whole Cruiserweight division ignored Amore’s No-Contact clause, blocked The Certified G’s escape and allowed Neville to act on their behalf and deliver a calculated assault of pure retribution on The Realest Guy in the Room. Then, moments after Raw went off the air, the attack continued with the rest of the Cruiserweights and the raging Braun Strowman finishing the job.
As much as the WWE Universe was excited by the all-out onslaught, the actions taken by the division did not come without consequences. As a result, there wasn’t a single competitor left on that roster that was allowed to challenge the outspoken titleholder when the following week’s Raw came about.
For a moment, it looked like Enzo had the last laugh, but Raw General Manager Kurt Angle changed all that in an instant when he introduced the newest member of the Cruiserweight division … Kalisto! Since the masked Superstar had no part in the previous week’s onslaught, he was clear to challenge the champion. And as soon as Enzo tried to take him out with the title, the luchador showed him just how determined he was to make his opportunity count by unleashing an attack that left Enzo down on the canvas.
The following week, an irate Enzo confronted Angle, who forced him to defend (and lose) the championship against Kalisto later that evening, leading to the WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs rematch.
Don't miss when Enzo goes head-to-head with Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WWE TLC, streaming live of the award-winning WWE Network, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT.
Asuka vs. Emma
Asuka’s highly anticipated main roster debut will finally occur at WWE TLC when she collides with the nefarious Emma.
Since the undefeated Asuka voluntarily surrendered her NXT Title to explore other opportunities, the WWE Universe has been on pins and needles to find out what will happen when The Empress of Tomorrow finally comes to the Team Red Women’s division. Her dynamic style took the NXT Universe by storm, and she certainly has plans to make the same impact on Raw. Is anyone on the red brand capable of stopping Asuka from achieving that destiny?
While Asuka is a threat to turn Raw upside down, any Superstar who combats her will have an opportunity to etch her name into the history books as the first to deal a loss to The Empress of Tomorrow.
Seeing as how Emma is always hungry for the WWE Universe to give her a chance, perhaps it was fate that she seized the moment and defeated Bayley, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to earn the right to be Asuka’s first opponent. And now that she has fought her way into one of the biggest matches of her career, will she be able to capitalize?
Will Asuka’s first test set the tone for a meteoric rise? Or will Emma stop her in her tracks? Find out at WWE TLC, tonight at 8 ET/5 PT, steaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.
Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs. Gentleman Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick
Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann look to show the WWE Universe that they are the future of the Cruiserweight division when they battle Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladder and Chairs tomorrow.
After weeks of tormenting Gentleman Jack Gallagher – berating him as a clown and claiming he did not have what it takes to compete at a high level – The Brian Kendrick’s plan seemed to take shape when Gallagher attacked Cedric Alexander, revealing a much more aggressive side of the British Superstar. Since then, Gallagher and Kendrick have forged an alliance, aiming to weed out the Superstars they believe are weak. Alexander has managed to fight back against the dangerous duo, forcing The Man with a Plan and the British gentleman to increase the intensity of their attacks.
However, Alexander is not alone in his struggle against Gallagher and Kendrick. Set to square off with Gallagher – with Kendrick in his corner – on Raw, Alexander revealed an ace up his sleeve, as former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann made his way to Alexander’s corner. Shell-shocked by the alliance, Gallagher was defeated quickly by Alexander, as he and Kendrick were forced back to the drawing board.
Despite their desire to weed out whom they perceive as soft-hearted, Kendrick and Gallagher face an unexpected challenge in Swann and Alexander – two incredibly talented Superstars that have proven time and again that they are major players in the Cruiserweight division.

Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox (Kickoff Match)
Following the all-out bedlam that she caused on Monday Night Raw, Alicia Fox will now go one-on-one against Sasha Banks as part of WWE TLC Kickoff tonight.
Amidst the high-stakes competition of the volatile Raw Women’s division, the pressure is always at the boiling point. However, shortly after Sasha scored a submission victory over Fox on Monday Night Raw, the defeated Superstar absolutely snapped. Not only did she attack The Boss backstage, but she also shoved a referee to the ground. Because of her actions, she was fined an undisclosed amount of money for putting her hands on an official.
Alicia would soon find out, though, that there will be a much higher price to pay for her outburst this Sunday when she squares off against an irate Banks, hungry for payback.
What will happen when Miss Fox takes on the four-time Raw Women’s Champion? Don’t miss WWE TLC Kickoff, beginning tonight at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network. It can also be seen on a free stream on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.

Gulak has been on a crusade for a “better” 205 Live in recent weeks, slowly but surely revealing the rules he wishes to impose on television’s most exciting hour through an enthralling PowerPoint slideshow. The buttoned-up grappler will, no doubt, provide a refresher course to catch up anyone who may have missed out on the first few slides. Gulak has also promised to get through all 277 slides this Sunday.
