per un giocatore che scade tra un anno wiggins, young e bennett + scelte è una rapina, oltre al fatto che a phila non conviene per niente dare young per prendere scelte abbastanza alte + barea e non garantiti. Bennett se va via va ai 76ers, per valorizzarlo nel quasi nulla e poi decidere se tenere, anche come panchinaro, o cederlo per ottenere cose più interessanti
Sarà una rapina ma è l'unico modo che hanno per prenderselo. Niente spazio salariale nella free agency dell'anno prossimo - a meno che non lo creino, sacrificando asset importanti - quando entrano in gioco anche i Lakers e i Knicks, niente giocatori interessanti al momento che possano far loro superare l'offerta di Chicago, per dirne una, rivali diretti.
A Philly per Young prima di tutto conviene una prima scelta da Cleveland (di Miami o Memphis), il resto è sostanzialmente spazio salariale per l'anno prossimo che, secondo me, a loro conviene di più rispetto a una vecchia prima scelta che poi non scambi più se va male. Derrick Williams, ex seconda scelta, è stato scambiato direttamente per Mbah-a-Moute all'inizio del suo terzo anno.

Yes, è l'ipotesi più probabile, anche se io - ripeto - non escluderei che Minnesota riuscisse a prendere anche Bennett, dirottando una prima scelta da Cleveland (di Memphis o Miami) e il contratto in scadenza di Barea a Philly, oltre ai contratti non garantiti di Cleveland. |

Cleveland is making the deal with Minnesota with a firm agreement Love will opt out of his contract in 2015 and re-sign with the Cavaliers on a five-year, $120 million-plus contract extension, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The deal cannot be finalized until Aug. 23, because Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick, cannot be traded until one month following the signing of his rookie contract. The two teams have agreed to the deal, but neither would have recourse if the other decided to pull out of the arrangement before it can be formally completed this month. No third team is involved in the Cavaliers-Timberwolves trade agreement.
The precise deal terms have been agreed upon for weeks, but the teams and Love plan to stay silent about the particulars until the trade is announced in 16 days, sources told Yahoo Sports. |
