Sasha Grey, l’ex pornostar che ha come motto "Lotta continua"

La sua carriera di pornostar è stata una parentesi. Ma tra il 2006, quando ha iniziato, diciottenne, e l’aprile 2011, data del suo addio alle luci rosse, Sasha Grey, 24 anni, è diventata l’attrice hard più famosa al mondo. Il suo volto da teenager, la naturalezza con cui si è dedicata alle pratiche più spinte, ma su tutto un fiuto per il marketing di se stessa l’hanno trasformata in un’icona della controcultura che l’ha portata fino a Hollywood, quando nel 2009 Steven Soderbergh l’ha chiamata a interpretare il film The girlfriend experience. L'anno scorso ha pubblicato il libro di fotografie e autoscatti, Neü Sex. Ora lavora a un documentario sulla propria vita e si dichiara "performance artist". Sulla home page del suo sito web si può ancora leggere la lettera di addio al mondo del porno. In calce la firma non è Sasha Grey, ma "Lotta continua", in italiano.

Davvero lei sa cos’è Lotta continua?
"Sì, e mi sento in linea con quel che professavano. Sono un’estremista di sinistra, nella vita e nel credo politico. 'Lotta continua' è il mio motto. Mi batto sempre per quel che penso e per la mia arte".

Vuol dire che sa pure chi è Adriano Sofri?
"Certo, era uno dei capi del movimento. So anche che Dario Argento a un certo punto ne fece parte".

Fare l’attrice era il suo sogno?
"A dire il vero no. Arrivo da un posto dove i sogni non si avverano, North Highlands, nei sobborghi di Sacramento. Un posto pieno di conformisti che detestavo. Di una cosa ero certa: non avrei mai voluto essere come loro".

Poi si è trasferita a Los Angeles. Inseguiva già un sogno hollywoodiano?
"No, sapevo che sarei entrata nell’industria pornografica. Prima di partire ho lavorato otto mesi in una steak house e ho messo da parte 7 mila dollari, intanto studiavo attentamente il mondo a luci rosse".

Bisogna avere un carattere molto forte...
"Sì, devo molto a mio padre e a mio fratello maggiore, è grazie a loro se oggi sono quella che sono. Il fatto che fossi una donna, mi dicevano, non significava avere meno privilegi degli uomini".

Che cosa l’ha spinta a voler tentare la carriera di pornostar a 18 anni?
"Il mio fidanzato dei tempi mi aveva iniziato al bondage e al sadomasochismo. Guardavo molti filmini, esploravo quella che per me era una nuova frontiera del sesso. Ma poi mi sono scontrata con lui perché non voleva spingersi oltre certi limiti. Il porno per me è stato liberatorio e ha rappresentato un modo per disfarmi del senso di colpa che mi perseguitava fin da piccola, dovuto alla mia educazione cattolica".

Non ha più sensi di colpa ora?
"Nessuno, nemmeno dopo avere lasciato il porno. Non mi metto certo a fare la vittima, sono fiera di quel che ho fatto. Essere una pornostar era il mio modo di fare performance art, usando il mio corpo come fosse una tela. Volevo dimostrare al mondo che non c’è niente di male se una donna si sente porca. Solo perché sei femmina non significa che tu non possa amare il sesso come un uomo. Ma se lo fai dicono che sei una puttana...".

Che cosa l’ha spinta a lasciare quel mondo?
"La svolta è arrivata con Soderbergh. Essendo una masochista, ho deciso di tentare la carriera d’attrice 'mainstream', di sicuro più difficile".

Un passo indietro: il suo primo approccio con il porno è stato un film con Rocco Siffredi.
"Il mio agente mi disse: 'Bimba, dopo Rocco sarà una strada in discesa'. Poi ho capito il perché. Il film era un’orgia 'free-form': ognuno poteva fare sesso con chi voleva. Io e Rocco ci siamo piaciuti all’istante. Mi ha fatto andare in visibilio, levandomi tutta la tensione. È molto simpatico, carismatico, ed è pure romantico, il che è raro nel settore".

Romantico?
"Un bel mix di dolcezza e sconcezza".

Si è mai innamorata su un set porno?
"Per carità! Il bello del mestiere è che vai, fai la tua scena e chi si è visto si è visto. Niente legami".

È fidanzata?
"No. Ma a Los Angeles ho il mio bel gruppetto di amici, soprattutto maschi".

Che cosa la eccita di più?
"Parlare mentre si fa sesso. E se non lo faccio io, deve essere lui a farlo. Lo trovo molto stuzzicante a livello psicologico. In alcuni casi può essere anche imbarazzante, soprattutto quando inizi una relazione con qualcuno e vuoi capire fino a dove puoi spingerti con le sconcezze".

Più di una volta ha rivendicato di essere femminista.
"Vivo in un paese, l’America, dove c’era un candidato presidente (Rick Santorum, ndr) che voleva togliere la pillola anticoncezionale alle donne, e fortuna vuole che ora sia fuori gioco. Non credo alla visione delle relazioni di coppia che ci propinano i media in questo paese, come se il sogno di tutte le donne fosse il matrimonio, la casa, i figli, il cane".

Niente altare nel futuro di Sasha?
"Per adesso ho solo un dobermann: ha due anni, si chiama MacReady, come il personaggio interpretato da Kurt Russell in La cosa".

Quando potremo vedere il documentario sulla sua vita?
"È ancora in stand by. Il montatore ha tutto il girato a New York, mentre il regista vive in Inghilterra. Gireremo anche nei prossimi due anni, e forse lo faremo uscire in due blocchi. Ci sono backstage dei miei viaggi, convention, alcune mie interviste e un po’ di animazione per renderlo più interessante".

Tra Obama e Mitt Romney, un afroamericano e un mormone, chi si porterebbe a letto?
"Barack Obama, senza ombra di dubbio"

La conosco poco come pornostar, più come attrice a momenti [ho visto Girlfriend Experience e c'era in Entourage nella penultima stagione], non conoscendole bene mi ha sempre dato l'impressioen di quella che tenta di fare il personaggio.

Il cognome artistico, il fatto che venga sempre sottolineato il suo essere "intellettuale" e/o diversa [sia da Soderberg che in Entourage dove interpreta stessa e sto concetto viene rimarcato], e non dico che una pornoattrice non puo' esserlo [mi pare di aver letto una vota che Asia Carrera aveva tipo 160 di QI, poi vabbè intelligenza e cultura son cose diversissime] però boh sapeva più di costruita.

Però ripeto, non la conosco, da quest'intervista ad esempio sembra una persona diversa da come l'avevo immaginata, quanto è personaggio e quanto è reale non so, so solo che nei filmati porno che ho visto di lei non mi ha impressionato più di tanto. Come tipo di ragazza dico, a scopare mi pare spaziale. Apprezzo sia un canone di bellezza differente da quelli americani di bambola bionda siliconata, però non mi fa impazzire [anche se nel video di Eminem era fichissima].

Ps. Chaos perchè la Carrera Raven? Raven idolissimo ma non è mai giunto a fama mondiale, la Carrera la conosco pure io che sono fermo a Jenna Jameson e Tera Patrick.
