A loss there which prompted a side-feud against Naomi only fueled Bliss’ fire, however. Since Lynch returned a couple weeks back, Alexa been winning the war against the champ. They may be allies on Team Blue at Survivor Series, but Bliss intends to play the wicked witch to Lynch’s Dorothy and make sure it’s her and not the Lasskicker who’s wearing the belt come Nov. 20. Can the Irishwoman who fought her entire career to become a WWE champion win another battle - her first defense of the title she won at Backlash? The Title Scene ► WWE World champ AJ Styles hasn’t had a great month. His one victory - a sneaky disqualification win over Dean Ambrose when the Phenomenal One baited James Ellsworth into attacking him - was wiped out last week when the Chinless Wonder distracted him long enough to allow Dean to recover and catch him with a Dirty Deeds. Now, AJ has to partner with the Lunatic on SmackDown’s Survivor Series team AND get ready for a title match against him at TLC in December! ► When Intercontinental titleholder Dolph Ziggler threw down the gauntlet for a Raw Superstar to try and take his belt, he didn’t know how the red brand would respond. Apparently, it involved a disagreement between Commissioner Stephanie McMahon & General Manager Mick Foley. In the end, Sami Zayn won that right last night. Unless Steph, who’ll be on tonight’s show at her brother Shane’s invitation, is planning on going back on her word... ► Beauty and the Man-Beast, aka tag champs Heath Slater & Rhyno, have three of the four teams they’ll lead into battle on Nov. 20. New Day got Team Red’s full ten man squad lined up last night. Who will the SmackDown captains add to American Alpha, Hype Bros & the Usos? Other stuff to keep an eye on: ► Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt aren’t just linked by a common belief the Eater of Worlds is a GOD... they’re also Survivor Series teammates! Plus, they like beating up Kane. ► After beating up Apollo Crews and winning a program against for Heavyweight champ Jack Swagger, Baron Corbin is ready for his spot among the three WWE titleists (and Bray) on Team Blue! Although seeing how he thinks family and friends only drag him down, I don’t think he’s gonna be a great teammate. ► A loss couldn’t keep Natalya away from the Women’s team. She’ll be coaching Nikki Bella, Carmella, Naomi and the two ladies fighting for the title tonight in Toronto. If she can keep Carm from attacking the Fearless One for a few minutes, we should nickname her Belichick. ► Miz hasn’t found his way onto the next pay-per-view (PPV), but that’s okay because his verbal feud with Bryan is probably the best thing in WWE. ► Let’s just say Curt Hawkins debut did not go as planned.
