PreviewThe Headliner(s) Bray Wyatt will be using the “tough love” and “let them fight” methods to try and mend the rift in his family. Luke Harper hasn’t trusted Randy Orton since he joined up with Bray, and the Viper feels Luke’s meddling has cost the Family - and him personally - wins over the last several weeks. That all came to a head last Tuesday, and even resulted in the Eater of Worlds striking the man who’s been his most loyal follower since NXT. Will Orton and Harper fighting it out get the tension and mistrust out of their systems, or does Bray have a big problem on his hands heading into Sunday’s Royal Rumble? In San Antonio, all three men will be in the main event, and Wyatt believes both of them will help him win a WrestleMania main event title shot. But that might be difficult if they’re still trying to kill each other. The Title Scene ► To prepare for what he hopes is winning his 16th WWE title this weekend, John Cena manipulated current World champ AJ Styles into a match with The Miz - then hit him with an Attitude Adjustment. ► Becky Lynch does not know what it’s going to take to beat current Women’s titleholder Alexa Bliss and win her belt back, but after “La Luchadora” screwed her out of a win in a steel cage last week, it’s probably gonna involve a match with Mickie James. ► American Alpha are tag team champions right now and they don’t really have a feud going on - but that shouldn’t stop us from hoping Chad Gable & Jason Jordan interact with new Hall of Famer Kurt Angle as soon as possible. ► Intercontinental titleist Dean Ambrose was the man at the center of last week’s Wyatt-on-Wyatt meltdown, but he’s mostly just worried about getting the Miz’s stink out of his strap. Other stuff to keep an eye on: ► Really, all eyes will be on Mickie James. Her debut left some underwhelmed, but nearly everyone is excited to have her back, and looking forward to he matches with... everyone on the SmackDown roster. First, we want a reasonable explanation for why she’s aligned with Little Miss Bliss. ► In fact, the title might be the least interesting thing in the women’s division right now. Nikki Bella and Natalya are at war. It started over Total Divas-y issues, but has settled into something we can all relate to: merch money. ► And I think Carmella is using James Ellsworth. Unless it’s the other way around. Those two probably deserve each other. ► Also, Dolph Ziggler is evil now. You can tell because he talks slow. And because he tried to kill Jerry Lawler with a superkick to the heart. ► Having been deprived of one on Raw, we better get the show-closing Rumble brawl tonight. Oh, and a few more blue brand guys put in the battle royal, and matches added to the card.
