Miz TV kicks off tonight's SmackDown. Kevin Owens interrupts and declares it The Kevin Owens Show. Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter interrupt. Owens and Del Rio have words and face off. Dean Ambrose comes out to a big reaction. Roman Reigns is out next to a standing ovation, according to our correspondent. R-Truth is out next. He says he will cut through everyone else like a hot knife through butter. Miz reminds Truth he's not in the tournament. Truth apologizes and wishes Reigns and Ambrose good luck. He refused to wish good luck to Owens and Del Rio, then leaves. The Miz throws a fit and Reigns distracts him, allowing Ambrose to knock Miz out with a punch. The others clear the ring and the segment ends with Reigns and Ambrose standing tall

* We come back to Miz complaining about being disrespected. He demands his match for tonight be canceled. Cesaro is out next. Cesaro defeats The Miz in about 90 seconds with a float-over into a Crossface. Stardust and The Ascension come out to block Cesaro but walk past him to the entrance without anything happening.

* Neville and The Dudley Boyz defeated Stardust and The Ascension.

* Tyler Breeze comes out with Summer Rae for a promo. He rips on Dolph Ziggler, who comes down to ringside to watch the next match.

* Tyler Breeze defeated Zack Ryder with an excellent Unprettier. Ziggler attacks Breeze after the match and nails a superkick to end the segment.

* The Undertaker's druids come out with sheep masks on as The Wyatt Family comes to the ring. Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman both cut promos until the bells toll. Everyone stands as The Undertaker cuts a promo on the big screen. Kane appears with a burning sheep mask and finishes the promo. The Undertaker does a "rest in peace" as the turnbuckles explode.

* WWE Divas Champion Charlotte defeated Brie Bella in a non-title match with the Figure Eight.

* Renee Young interviews Paige backstage.

Tonight's main event will be Reigns and Ambrose vs. Owens and Del Rio.

* Big E defeated Kalisto with two running splashes and a distraction from The New Day. They attack Kalisto and Sin Cara after the match until Ryback makes the save.

* They show Maria Menounos interviewing Paige and The Miz on E! News about WWE Studios movie Santa's Little Helper.

* Backstage segment with Reigns and Ambrose talking about being in the Survivor Series main event together.

* Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio by DQ when Del Rio threw Reigns into the steel steps. Del Rio apparently had several botches in the match. A brawl breaks out before Reigns and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds and a spear. They stand tall as SmackDown ends.

* Roman Reigns kicks off SmackDown with a promo. There is a table, ladder and chair set up in the ring. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus interrupts. Reigns calls Sheamus to the ring but Sheamus laughs at him. Sheamus calls Reigns a "walking, talking Adele song" and a confrontation is teased. Reigns promises he will get his title back at TLC

* The Dudley Boyz defeated Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman by DQ when Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt interfered. Rowan and Harper put Bubba Ray through a table while Strowman chokes Devon out

* Paige defeated Becky Lynch, Paige made quick work of Becky here won with...a roll up. (OP note: Foley will be bawling here)

* WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E do a funny segment with a dinner for Thanksgiving, the first annual New Day Potluck Dinner. The Ascension, Heath Slater and Adam Rose get kicked out of the dinner. Slater brought Slater Slaw but Kofi pointed out a band-aid in it. Rose brought Rabbit Stew. They were trying to remember who was supposed to bring the turkey when The Gobbledy Gooker arrived, revealed to be Xavier Woods

* Jack Swagger vs. WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match ends in a DQ when Del Rio uses a chair outside of the ring. Swagger comes back with a chair attack in the ring, sending Zeb and Del Rio retreating to the back

* The Usos are backstage when The Gobbledy Gooker walks up and wishes them a Happy Thanksgiving. He leaves and they say they have a plan

* The Lucha Dragons defeated Big E and Kofi Kingston with The Gobbledy Gooker in a non-title match, thanks to interference from Gooker. The Gooker was revealed to be Jey Uso. Jimmy Uso brought a naked and tied-up Xavier Woods to the ring. Sin Cara and Kalisto held him up while Jey splashed him

* Renee Young interviews Dean Ambrose. He's in a #1 contenders match for the Intercontinental Title later

* Dean Ambrose defeated Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat to become the new #1 contender to Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens, who was on commentary. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Breeze to win a high-energy match. This was the main event.

The show started with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Usos already standing in the ring. Reigns talked about family in reference to The Usos and Ambrose. There was a small but audible "hug it out" chant, which Reigns and Ambrose obliged. The League of Nations was out next, followed by New Day. Sheamus said it was Reigns and his family versus The League tonight. New Day said that if Ambrose and The Uso's couldn't beat them (New Day) then Reigns had to face The League all by himself...

1. Tyler Breeze (w/Summer Rae) beat Neville. Breeze won with the Unprettier after a distraction from Summer Rae. Dolph Ziggler sat at ringside and did nothing except show off his Steel Panther haircut...

JoJo interviewed Becky Lynch backstage. Becky said she doesn't see Charlotte going down the same path as Paige. Brie showed up and said Becky Lynch is going to drown in her own shame. Charlotte showed up and laid a sweet burn on Brie, who said something forgettable. Charlotte said she'd be in Becky's corner tonight and always...

2. Brie Bella beat Becky Lynch by DQ. Charlotte attacked Brie for accidentally knocking her off the ring apron, which led to the DQ. There was drama between Becky and Charlotte after the match followed by a New Day Rocks/Sucks (mostly Rocks) chant...

Backstage, Miz made fun of Neville's ears and told him he has no charisma, and that he should let him take him under his wing. He then blessed Neville with a copy of his Awesome new Christmas movie...

Ryback and Lana were interviewed backstage, where they gushed over each other and Rusev promised to crush Ryback..

3. New Day beat Dean Ambrose and The Uso Brothers. New Day picked up the win when Xavier Woods hit a Shining Wizard(!) on Jeyimmy. Ambrose definitely received the biggest pop of the night thus far...

4. Bray Wyatt beat D-Von Dudley. After Bray won with Sister Abigail, the Wyatts beat down the Dudleys and Tommy Dreamer, who then got put through a table in the corner by Erick Rowan...

5. Roman Reigns beat The League Of Nations when Sheamus was counted out. After the match, Ambrose and the Uso's ran out to even the odds. Reigns and company stood tall in the ring to close out the show. Reigns got the biggest ovation I've heard for Reigns since his Shield days...

*The show opens with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Usos in the ring. Reigns cut a promo about the League of Nations and how he’ll beat Sheamus at the TLC PPV for the WWE Title. This led to the League of Nations coming out to the stage. Sheamus said that The Authority told him that there will be an eight-man tag team match tonight between the League of Nations and Reigns, Ambrose, and The Usos.

* Tyler Breeze defeated Neville with the Unprettier. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary and the crowd was dead for this match.

* Roman Reigns defeats The League of Nations in a 4 v 1 elimination match via countout. Barrett got eliminated half-way into the match. After the match, Sheamus hits Reins with a Brogue Kick and out come The Usos with Ambrose. The babyfaces help Reigns fight off The League of Nations and stand tall to end SmackDown

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns opens SmackDown talking about how good it felt to win the title on Monday and how it was it so great to win on his daughter's birthday. Reigns says he doesn't think he has many days left in WWE. Sheamus interrupts and says he's happy for Roman, pointing out how it's been longer than 5 minutes and 15 seconds. Sheamus says it won't be much longer until he wins the title back. "You look stupid" chants break out. Sheamus tells them to respect the hawk. Sheamus says there is an investigation going on in regards to Reigns and he can't fight or make any appearances, or be in this building tonight. Roman says to come and make him leave. Security guards come out and Reigns destroys them.

* Ryback vs. WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio is next in a good back and forth non-title match. Ryback hits the Meathook and goes for Shellshocked but Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett interfere. Del Rio takes advantage and hits the cross armbreaker on Ryback for the win. After the match, the League of Nations beats Ryback down. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick and Rusev puts him in The Accolade.

* The Lucha Dragons vs. The New Day is advertised for later. There's a backstage segment with Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae talking about his match with Titus O'Neil. Goldust creeps around from behind and Summer sprays hairspray in his mouth.

* Titus O'Neil defeated Tyler Breeze with Clash of the Titus. Goldust came down during the match and sat with Summer in her VIP section. Goldust was taking selfies with Breeze's selfie stick and distracted him with it, leading to Titus getting the win.

* Backstage segment with Dean Ambrose talking about the beatdown he got from Kevin Owens on RAW.

* They show highlights from TLC with the ECW Originals and The Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt cuts a promo.

* The Lucha Dragons defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a non-title match. Sin Cara and Kalisto controlled early. Big E tried to play the trombone but it wouldn't work. Woods distracted the referee and Big pulled Cara off the apron at one point. Cara came back in and dived onto Woods and Big E. Kalisto grabbed Kofi from the corner and rolled him up for the win.

* Backstage segment with Dolph Ziggler talking about Kevin Owens.

* Becky Lynch defeated Brie Bella by submission. Team BAD came out during the match with "unity" signs. They took seats behind the announcers and the "we want Sasha" chants started up. WWE Divas Champion Charlotte comes out and trips Brie while Becky has the referee distracted. Becky then gets the win.

* Backstage segment with Charlotte and Becky. Becky doesn't think Charlotte thinks she can win on her own.

* Dolph Ziggler defeated Kevin Owens by DQ in the main event when Owens threw him over the announce table. Owens dominated most of the match and went for a pop-up powerbomb at one point but Ziggler countered with Sweet Chin Music. Owens kicked out and then they went to the floor and the DQ happened. Ziggler came back but Owens threw him into the steel steps. Owens went to powerbomb Ziggler into the steps but Dean Ambrose came out and they brawled. Owens escaped and walked away. Ziggler was being helped to the back by referees when Owens superkicked him. Ambrose chased Owens to the stage and they had a staredown. Ambrose checked on Ziggler but Ziggler superkicked Ambrose. Owens laughed at them both as SmackDown goes off the air with both Ambrose and Ziggler down.

Sin Cara came out in a sling and Kalisto challenged the New Day to a match, which New Day thought was a handicap match. Kalisto said he brought friends and the Dudleys came out with a table that had, “Happy New Years Eve” painted on it.

1. Kalisto and The Dudley Boyz beat New Day in a six-man tag. After some exchanges. Kalisto was beat on for a bit and hot tagged Bubba. Kalisto had a nice spot jumping off of Bubbas shoulders while he sat on the top turnbuckle onto Xavier Woods, then pinned Woods using a Salida del Sol. Then they put Xavier through the table.

2. Tyler Breeze (w/Summer Rae) beat Goldust. A fast, lame match that I believe ended with a Breeze rollup, but I couldn’t see. Breeze and Summer Rae then announced for the New Year they are parting ways, but will leave the crowd with one last selfie. The crowd had no reaction and there was a sense of bewilderment.

3. Braun Strowman and Luke Harper defeated The Uso Brothers. A good match that ended with Stroman’s lame Bearhug. Strowman looked very stiff in the ring.

4. Brie Bella and Alicia Fox beat Naomi and Tamina. We missed the match. I love the Divas, it wasn’t a slight. My 6-year old had to use the bathroom and it was over by the time we made it back to the concourse.

5. Dolph Ziggler defeated Bo Dallas. Ziggler got a big pop throughout the match. He pinned Bo clean finishing Bo with a super kick.

6. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose beat Sheamus and Kevin Owens by DQ. This match was kind of short and ended with Owens being disqualified for not being the legal man and pulling Reigns’ legs into the ring post when Reigns was setting up a spear for Sheamus. I thought it was an odd finish in a modern tag team match where it always seems like teammates get involved whenever they want to. The heels were about to put Ambrose through the announce table when Reigns stopped them. The faces posed with their belts for 10 minutes.

John Cena opened the show and challenged Alberto Del Rio to a title match that was rejected.

1. Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match.

The Miz hosted Miz TV and the segment included appearances by New Day, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, and Neville.

2. Dolph Ziggler, Goldust, R-Truth, and Neville defeated New Day and The Miz.

3. Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch to retain the WWE Divas Championship.

4. Dean Ambrose fought Kevin Owens to a double count out in an Intercontinental Title match.

* Dean Ambrose says he wants a Last Man Standing match against Kevin Owens at the Rumble, but Sheamus interrupts. They almost get into it but Owens comes out and accepts the challenge. Owens and Sheamus attack Ambrose, but Neville makes the save.

* The Dudley Boyz defeat Luke Harper and Eric Rowan in a tables match, in what is said to be underwhelming. Strowman attacks the Dudleyz, tossing Bubba Ray through two tables, and D-Von through another after the match.

* Jojo is talking to new US Champion Kalisto, who says much like Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero, he'll thrive in the land of the giants.

* Social Outcasts are out to take on Jack Swagger, Zack Ryder, Goldust and Damien Sandow. Dallas hits his finish on Ryder for the win but accidentally kicks Slater off the ring.

* Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio for the US title is next. Wade Barrett comes and joins Del Rio at ringside. Del Rio submits Kalisto to become new United States Champion, thanks to an assist from Barrett.

* Becky Lynch defeats Brie Bella via submission (Disarmor).

* Dean Ambrose & Neville vs. Kevin Owens & Sheamus ends in a no contest after both teams end up outside the ring going at it. After the match Ambrose and Neville hit their finishers on Owens.

They grilled him about his crime against the trombone. They asked the crowd to partake in a moment of silence in remembrance of Francesca. Jericho told them they’re going to be in a six-man tag match and introduced their opponents The Usos and Dolph Ziggler for the opening match…

1. The Usos and Dolph Ziggler defeated Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods. The babyfaces won in about 13 minutes with a triple superkick on Xavier Woods…

2. Becky Lynch beat Alicia Fox (w/Brie Bella). Charlotte and Ric Flair were commentary. Becky won via submission with the Disarmer…

Miz TV with Dean Ambrose, who compared the Last Man Standing match to an amusement park, and explained all the “rides” he’s gonna take KO on – the ring apron, the barricade, and the announce table. Ambrose said he’s gonna put Owens through the announce able and be the last man standing. Owens came out and said he’s more of a zoo enthusiast. He said he’s obsessed with the IC Title. He said Ambrose would be unconscious and he would become the champ. Ambrose challenged him to fight. Miz attacked Ambrose. Owens came to the ring and hit Miz with a Popup Powerbomb. Ambrose recovered, attacked Owens, hit Dirty Deeds, and led the crown in a 10 count…

3. Bray Wyatt over Ryback. Wyatt won with Sister Abigail after interference from the other Wyatt Family members…

4. Titus O’Neil over Stardust. Titus won with a sit out spinebuster with Stardust coming off the top rope…

Kalisto was interviewed backstage by Renee Young. League of Nations beat up Kalisto afterward…

Roman Reigns came out for his handicap match against League of Nations. He cut an in-ring promo about how he’ll overcome the odds at the Royal Rumble…

5. Roman Reigns beat Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and King Barrett by DQ. Reigns won when the League of Nations members all attacked him. The Usos ran out for the save. The League took out the Usos, Reigns fired up. Cue the Wyatt Family sounder, and they surround the ring. Reigns took out Luke Harper and Erick Rowen. Braun Strowman knocked Reigns out of the ring. Reigns was taken out by Harper and Rowen on the outside. They threw him back inside the ring to take Sister Abigail from Bray. The Wyatts posed and the lights went out to end the taping.

Pyro to start the show. Neville vs Kalisto for the United States Championship was shown on the video screen for later on…

New Day came out to a strong response to start Smackdown. No Unicorn Ho…I mean llama penises on their heads though. They showed highlights of The Rock/New Day segment from Raw. New Day trash talked The Rock and said he still didn’t have gold like them. Xavier Woods said he couldn’t say what The Rock called their unicorn horns because it’s a PG show (even though they showed the line on the big screen).

The Miz came out and agreed with New Day. He said The Rock had no right to disrespect him, a fellow movie star. Miz then touted his own accomplishments including headlining WrestleMania. The Usos then came out. They said The Miz is the only man to ever headline WrestleMania that has to constantly remind people he did. They also made fun of Miz’s “dress”. New Day accused The Usos of riding their cousin “Dewie’s” coattails. The Usos said they weren’t here to talk, they were here to fight. That brought out Titus O’Neal and Dolph Ziggler and the four babyfaces cleared the ring. Eden Stiles announced that she’d just been informed that this was now an eight-man tag match…

1. The Usos, Dolph Ziggler, and Titus O’Neil beat Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, and The Miz. Xavier played his trombone at ringside even though he was a match participant. Pretty standard action and about what you’d expect. The heels worked over one of the Usos in the corner taking turns stomping on him. Titus took the hot tag and cleaned house to a good reaction. The Usos did suicide dives on to Kofi and Big E. Ziggler superkicked Xavier and then gave it to The Miz too who ended up taking Titus’s finisher for the pinfall at the 10-12 minute mark…

2. Kalisto defeated Neville to retain the U.S. Championship. That silly Lucha chant is over in Tampa. They got in ring intros for it being a title match. They announced Neville as a Slammy Award winner…Both men got decent responses but I’d give the edge to Kalisto. Lots of fun spots, fast paced action, and energy. It reminded me of a WCW Cruiserweight bout from back in the day. It was weird seeing Neville being the bigger wrestler during a match. Kalisto reversed some kind of suplex attempt by Neville in to the Salida del Sol out of nowhere at the 8-10 minute mark for the win and to retain the title. They could have gone another 10-15 minutes easily and kept the crowd’s interest. They shook hands after the match…

Chris Jericho hosted the Highlight Reel segment. Jericho came out to the best response of the night so far. In ring, he played to the crowd and welcomed us to “Thursday Night Jericho.” He put over his performance in the Royal Rumble and his match with AJ Styles from Raw. He talked about the Fast Lane main event and the three participants, two of which were his guests. Jericho introduced Dean Ambrose who got a big pop, then introduced Roman Reigns, who got a loud but mixed reaction. Ambrose gave Jericho some crappy looking flowers for some reason. The three men made fun of Jericho’s cheap Highlight Reel set/furniture.

Reigns put over how he and Ambrose started together in a warehouse in Tampa years ago. Jericho tried to stir up trouble between Reigns and Ambrose which they both no sold. They transitioned in to talking about Brock Lesnar. Ambrose put over Brock but said he isn’t afraid of anyone. Reigns said he was in the ring with Lesnar and told Dean it wasn’t like facing anyone else. Ambrose told Reigns he didn’t have to beat Brock, he just had to beat him. Reigns told Dean that he’s never beaten him before so good luck.

The Wyatt Family appeared on stage. Bray talked about slaying The Beast at the Rumble. After a short exchange, Bray then challenged Jericho, Ambrose, and Reigns to a six-man tag later tonight…

The Social Outcasts cut a promo in the ring. They complained about AJ Styles getting more attention on Twitter and Raw than them. Curtis Axel is pissed because AJ ended his 364 day run in the Royal Rumble and challenged him to come on down and face the “Ax Man”.

3. AJ Styles beat Curtis Axel (w/The Social Outcasts). AJ came out to a good reaction. Not as good as his Rumble or Raw pops but I guess that’s to be expected. He has pyro now. All three outside members of the Social Outcasts tried interfering at different points but AJ fought them all off. He fought out of a Perfect Plex attempt and hit the Pele Kick followed by a Styles Clash for the win in less than five minutes…

They showed highlights of the Diva’s Title Match from the Rumble. Charlotte came to the ring accompanied by Ric Flair. Lots of Wooo’s of course.

4. Divas Champion Charlotte (w/Ric Flair) beat Natalya in a non-title match. Nattie got a good reaction. There were oud “We Want Sasha” chants during the match. Flair woooed in Natalya’s face on the outside at one point which distracted her. Charlotte took advantage and won with the Figure 8 in about four minutes. After the match, Charlotte celebrated and then locked in the Figure 8 again. Becky Lynch ran to the ring which scared Charlotte off. Becky attended to Natalya in the ring…

They cut backstage to JoJo with Sasha Banks. JoJo asked Sasha if Team BAD was setting their sights on the Diva’s Title. Sasha said she was the boss and while Naomi and Tamina were great, she wanted the title. Naomi and Tamina showed up and told Sasha they supported her and they had her back. Sasha told them she’s glad they know that she’s the boss. Sasha came off heelish…

They cut to R-Truth who was stretching outside for a jog. Goldust showed up in jogging gear and freaked him out with innuendos. Something about pulling his groin muscle and needing a massage. Weird…

5. Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns beat Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan (w/Braun Strowman) by DQ. Rowan and Jericho started the match. The Wyatts worked over Jericho early. Jericho made a comeback on Harper going for the Walls of Jericho at one point and hitting the 10 punch in the corner. Harper cut him off with and tagged in Bray Wyatt. Wyatt beat up Jericho and then tagged in Rowan, who went in to rest hold mode. Harper got tagged back in and beat up Jericho some more. Ambrose played to the crowd on the apron to get them behind Jericho. It worked briefly because he fought out of a Harper chin lock, but he was then caught with a Michinuku driver.

Harper took a cheap shot at Reigns which got some heat. Jericho then caught Harper with a move I missed but it was enough to get the first hot tag from Ambrose. Dean went crazy and took out the Wyatts including a suicide dive on to Harper and Rowan. Bray cut him off back in the ring but Ambrose managed to tag in Reigns for another hot tag. Six-way action broke out and Reigns hit the Superman Punch on Harper. Reigns went for the pin, but Strowman pulled him out for the DQ.

The Wyatts dominated after the match and ganged up on Roman in the ring. Big Show’s music hit to a loud/surprising pop. Show took out Rowan on the outside and then got in the ring face to face with Strowman. Harper and Bray attacked from behind and they all ganged up on Big Show. Reigns, Amrose, and Jericho all made a comeback and the faces cleared the Wyatts from the ring. They all celebrated while Reigns’ music played to end the taping.

* Miz TV with Sami Zayn and WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens opens the show. Sami is brought out first and he gets a big pop. Miz disrespects him and out comes Owens to interrupt. Neville comes down and interrupts with Words for Owens. They get into it and Miz attacks Sami, leading to a tag team match.

* Sami Zayn and Neville defeated The Miz and Kevin Owens. Owens was called in to fight Zayn but he wouldn’t, he walked out on the match. Miz took the pin from Zayn.

* Brie Bella defeated Summer Rae by submission. Lana was on commentary and attacked Brie after the match, hitting her with another Bella Buster.

* Chris Jericho comes out and cuts a great heel promo on AJ Styles and the fans that supported their tag team. Jericho lights fire to a Y2AJ t-shirt and lets it burn in a trash can. Jericho says Y2AJ is officially over. Good heat for Jericho here. AJ interrupts but The Ascension attacks him out of nowhere. Jericho retreats to the ramp while AJ clears the ring of The Ascension and stares Jericho down.

* King Barrett and Sheamus defeated Sin Cara and WWE United States Champion Kalisto when Barrett hit Cara with a Bullhammer.

The Social Outcasts came out. They cut their promo sitting on the ring apron facing out. Interesting position. They pointed to the WrestleMania sign, then claimed they will win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale as a team. They chatter back and forth until Ambrose came out to a huge reaction. He had a kendo stick in hand and beat up all four men.

Ambrose cuts a promo saying Brock Lesnar will be on Smackdown next week. So will he. It was a brief promo to the point and with more hometown love…

4. Kevin Owens defeated AJ Styles in a non-title match. Owens was out first to a decent pop. Styles’ pop was big but half of what Ambrose got. AJ’s pyro is loud. Owens got good heel heat as Cincy is a very pro-babyface crowd usually. Solid match. Styles teased the Styles Clash at one point, but Owens rolled away. Late in the match, Styles attempted a spinning slam from a rack position for two. Owens attempted a top rope brainbuster that was countered. Styles et up for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Chris Jericho came out. The Jericho distraction led to Owens hitting a Popup Powerbomb on Styles for hte win at 9:24. After the match, Jericho gave AJ a Codebreaker. Y2J taunted the AJ chant on mic.

Owens came back to taunt, but Ambrose runs out with cane to attack both heels and save AJ. This was likely a dark segment. AJ hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Jericho, and Ambrose performed Dirty Deeds on Owens to end the show…

1. Sasha Banks beat Charlotte in a non-title match. Banks rolled up Charlotte as she was going for the figure four. Afterward, Becky Lynch attacked Charlotte.

2. Sheamus beat Kofi Kingston. Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick.

3. The Usos beat The Ascension.

They’ve shown Roman Reigns twice onscreen including once backstage with the Dudley Boyz, and the fans have cheered him both times.

4. Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn defeated The Miz and Kevin Owens. After the match, there was a brawl between ladder competitors. Ryder came out on top.

5. Roman Reigns fought Bubba Ray Dudley to an apparent no-contest. Reigns got cheered big time by the Boston time. Reigns was beating up Bubba at ringside when the referee called for the bell. Neither correspondent were certain whether the match was a count-out or a disqualification.

6. AJ Styles defeated Tyler Breeze.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman cut a promo. The Wyatt Family interrupted. Dean Ambrose came out and helped clear the Wyatt Family, then fought with Lesnar. Brock left Ambrose lying to close the taping.

* Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte in a solid non-title match. Becky Lynch was on commentary and Sasha got the huge hometown pop. Sasha countered the Figure Eight with a roll up for the win. After the match, Becky drops them both and leaves. Sasha recovers first and drops Charlotte with a Backstabber

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are out next to a huge pop. They cut funny promos but get interrupted by The League of Nations, minus Alberto Del Rio

* Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston. Sheamus dominated the early part of the match but Kofi came back strong. Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick after an assist from King Barrett and Rusev

* The Usos defeated The Ascension in a quick match with a double superkick to Viktor. After the match, The Usos hit a top rope splash through the tables on Konnor and Viktor

* Renee Young interviews The Dudley Boyz backstage. They trash The Usos, Rikishi and The Wild Samoans. Roman Reigns interrupts and tells Bubba Ray Dudley he wants a fight tonight

* Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz and WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. There was tension between the heels early on but they got on the same page and dominated until Ziggler made a hot tag to Zayn. Owens tried leaving but Stardust, Sin Cara and Zack Ryder stopped him. Miz attacked Owens from behind and brought him back in the ring for a Skull Crushing Finale. Zayn hit Miz with a Helluva Kick for the win. Everyone gets involved and hits their finishers. Ryder is left standing after dropping Owens with a Rough Ryder

* Roman Reigns vs. Bubba Ray Dudley ends in a double count out. Reigns was out first to a big pop and D-Von came out with Bubba Ray. The match quickly went to the outside and turned into a very physical brawl for the count out. Reigns was in control when D-Von ran into save Bubba but Reigns hit him with a Superman punch, then a steel steps shot outside of the ring. Bubba came back in the ring dazed as Reigns slid in and speared him before going to the back

* Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar come to the ring for a promo on Dean Ambrose. Heyman calls Ambrose out to fight Lesnar. The Wyatt Family comes out instead. They surround the ring but Ambrose's music hits and he comes out. Lesnar and Ambrose take out The Wyatts. Ambrose attacks Lesnar with a kendo stick. Lesnar drills Ambrose with a clothesline and drops him with a F5 to end SmackDown

1. AJ Styles defeated Heath Slater. A good match with some really cool spots. Brooklyn loves AJ.

2. D-Von Dudley defeated Jey Uso. I’ve seen better from these two. Jimmy Uso and Bubba Ray Dudley got into it at ringside at the end

3. Dean Ambrose defeated Erick Rowan. I missed most of it due to issues at food stand (they ran out of food), but the ending was good.

The following results are tonight’s WWE Smackdown TV taping results from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas:

Roman Reigns starts the show. Loud boos and loud cheers from the two demos. The vocal males drowned out his promo. He’s stressing the “Not a good guy, not a bad guy, but The Guy” line. AJ Styles interrupted to huge cheers as the counter to Reigns. Show of respect, but said he wants the title. Reigns said he’ll never beat him for it and patronizingly patted him on the shoulder before leaving. No date for the title match.

It is announced that AJ Styles and Cesaro will team up to face Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens later in the show

The Vaudevillains defeated Lucha Dragons
– Eh debut. Crowd didn’t know what to make of their act, but clapped along to the old-time music. Not clear if heel or face and pinned US champ Kalisto. Not a good week to be a mid-card champ. Crowd sat quietly as they celebrated the win, not sure why Kalisto just lost.

Natalya defeated Summer Rae
– Natalya won via submission. Charlotte and Ric Rlair joined commentary. More like Charlotte was on commentary and Flair just sat next to her. Natalya put Summer in the Sharpshooter right in front of Charlotte. Post-match stare down. They got out quick, but Flair was a little slow exiting. Charlotte had to come back and get him. “C’mon dad!”

Intercontinental Championship
The Miz defeated Zack Ryder to retain
– When Miz was in trouble, Maryse undid the bottom turnbuckle pad and threw it towards Ryder. Miz then punched Ryder in the face and hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the win. So much for that.

Apollo Crews defeated Curtis Axel
– Axel lost paper rock scissors with the other Outcasts to get the match. Crews hit the delayed sit-out powerbomb for the win.

– The Dudley Boyz call out Roman Reigns in a backstage promo

– Baron Corbin is featured in a backstage promo, and Corbin says the End of Days is already here. He wants to end Ziggler after their Raw match.

– Another backstage interview with Becky Lynch, who says she will never stop chasing the Women’s Title. Emma interrupted and told her she belongs at the back of the line.

Dean Ambrose defeated Tyler Breeze
– Ambrose won after he hit a rebound clothesline and Dirty Deeds. As he was leaving, Chris Jericho made his entrance for his tag match, and Dean teased a confrontation, but Jericho walked past him.

AJ Styles & Cesaro defeated Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens
– Initially, Owens and Jericho got into it, selling not getting along. Said to be a very good tag match. Real funny comedy sequence during the mid-match “break.” Zayn came out restrained by agents and refs, distracting Owens, who got rolled up by Styles for the pin. Big post-fight brawl on the floor between Owens and Zayn. Owens got the best of him. That seemed to be the end of Smackdown.

– In what could have been the post-show segment, Styles remained in the ring and the Dudley Boyz attacked him, but Roman Reigns came down to knock out the Dudleys. AJ and Reigns had a face off, but ended up shaking hands, before Jericho interrupted from ringside. Jericho told Styles to shake his hand and apologize, but Styles gave him the Clash and Reigns speared him.

Maryse started the show and introduced the Miz for Miz TV segment. Miz’s guest was his wife Maryse. He said he was was going to ask the question everyone wanted to know, which was “What is is like being married to the Miz?” Zack Ryder interrupted and demanded a title match. Miz said yes but forgot Zack had an opponent already. Out came Barron Corbin.

1. Baron Corbin beat Zack Ryder.

2. Enzo Amore and Big Cass beat The Ascension to advance in the tag team tournament.

JoJo interviewed AJ Styles, who was interrupted by Alberto Del Rio.

3. AJ Styles beat Alberto Del Rio. Styles wins with a roll up.

Goldust, R-Truth, and Fandango had a backstage promo.

4. The Vaudevillians beat Goldust and Fandango to advance in the tag tournament. The Vaudevillains made their entrance with little to no reaction. The Vaudevillians got a quick win to advance to face the Usos. The next round features The Usos vs. Vaudevillains, and Enzo and Big Cass vs. The Dudley Boyz.

Chris Jericho was interviewed by JoJo. He got major heat by calling San Diego a dump.

5. Sami Zayn beat Chris Jericho by DQ. Sami Zayn came out to a good reaction and was followed by Chris Jericho, who got some heat. Zayn had the upper hand to start the match. Jericho rolled out the ring. Kevin Owens interrupted and was followed by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose and Owens checked in on commentary. Jericho and Ambrose exchanged words. Jericho drew heat with that. Jericho then got the upper hand on Zayn. Sami recovered and got some offense but was quickly stopped by Jericho, who applied the Walls of Jericho. Sami made it to the ropes to break it. Jericho then attacked Ambrose only to have Sami throw Jericho into Owens. Owens and Ambrose were down at this point. Owens attacked Sami for the DQ. Ambrose made the save. Ambrose and Sami stood tall to conclude the show..

Dark Main Event

1. Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose beat Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Ambrose delivered a promo to set up the dark match. Sami and Jericho started the match. Owens and Jericho controlled the match for the most part. Ambrose took the hot tag and hit Dirty Deeds on Owens for the win to send the crowd home happy. The arena was about 80 percent full and it’s very small arena.

The ring was set up for the Miz TV segment. They showed a replay of Anderson and Gallows attacking Roman Reigns on Raw. The crowd booed every time Roman was on the screen. This will lead into the opening video. There was a full pyro display. While it was dark, Miz and Maryse headed to the ring.

Maryse spoke French and demanded we stand up. The Miz introduced AJ Styles, who got a great welcome. AJ seemed more comfortable. The Miz said let’s go back to Japan 2014. He asked was he thick as thieves with Anderson and Gallows. Miz told Styles to admit that he had something to do with the attack. Styles denied it.

Miz changed the question and said if you didn’t ask them to attack, did you try and stop them? AJ said they can think for themselves. He asked whether he upset with them and said he is. He said he doesn’t need anyone to help him beat Roman. Miz continued to accuse AJ, and said he needs Anderson and Gallows, as Roman is the guy.

Miz stood up and told Styles to tell him the truth while adding that he can handle it. This resulted in Miz and his wife making out after she said I love you, and Miz channeling Han Solo by saying, “I know.” After they finished, AJ attacked Miz.

The main event of the show was announced as Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens…

1. Ryback beat Kalisto in a non-title match. Ryback dominated the first six minutes of the match and hit a 20-second vertical suplex from the middle rope, which was quite an impressive spot. The end of the match came when Ryback hit Shellshocked for the win…

Dolph Ziggler headed to the ring for a match. As he got to the ring, Baron Corbin ran down beside the ramp and attacked him. Corbin performed End of Days. When asked why, he said it’s because he can…

2. AJ Styles beat The Miz. The Miz worked Styles over viciously to begin with before AJ made his comeback. The ending came when the Miz had a sustained amount of offense, but Styles made another comeback and Miz bailed to the outside. He tried to walk up the ramp, but Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ran out and blocked his path. AJ brought Miz into the ring and hit the Phenomenal Forearm to win in roughly 15 minutes. Haydn notes that AJ gave up a lot of offense to Miz, which was a surprise with Payback coming up. Decent action though…

A video was shown of Shane making the Jericho vs. Ambrose and Zayn vs. Owens matches for Payback…

Backstage, Zayn and Ambrose were interviewed. Ambrose said Jericho must be the best in the world at sneaking up from behind. Zayn said we need to beat these guys who are dragging us down. They did a comedy bit talking about their tag names. Ambrose said their name is Rough Riders but Sami said that’s too sexual…

In the ring, The Miz was still getting up. He said he told the fans that AJ, Anderson, and Gallows are in this together. He continued to heel on the crowd. He demanded an investigation. Nuclear heat. He said he refused to leave the ring until an investigation is done. This led to Shane McMahon coming out in his sweats.

In what may have been a dark segment, Shane said he popped into London to say hello. Miz said he doesn’t care if he wants to say hello to this crappy crowd, he said he wants Shane to go to the back. Shane cut him off and told him not to touch him again. Miz mocked him for being a rich boy. Miz continued to poke him in the chest, so Shane hit a couple of punches and a flying elbow. A nice, crowd pleasing moment that may not air on television…

Backstage, Anderson and Gallows were walking and were asked whether their actions confirm they are aligned with AJ. They said of course not, AJ can handle himself. They said their in-ring debuts will be on Raw against the Usos…

3. Paige and Natalya defeated Naomi and Tamina. Paige is super over with the hometown fans. Paige and Natalya applied submission holds to gain the victory…

4. R-Truth beat Fandango. Goldust came out and was introduced as the guest referee. After some bad dancing segment, Truth slammed Fandango and pinned him, then danced with Goldust afterward…

Enzo Amore and Big Cass made their entrance to a superstar reaction. Once in the ring, they did their schtick and the crowd ate it up. They were interrupted by The Vaudevillains. They cut a promo on Enzo, who responded by telling them he doesn’t know what they are saying. The crowd started to give the Vaudevillains with the what treatment. They finished by saying at the end of their match, they will be standing over them and saying “How Are You Doing” properly. Great back and forth between the two teams…

Jericho and Owens were shown walking backstage. Jericho knocked the popcorn out of someone backstage a hands. Owens stole the popcorn from the other backstage handlers hands and started eating it. Funny…

5. Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose. Owens tagged out quickly when Sami was in the ring early on. Zayn dominated the early offense against Jericho before tagging in Ambrose. Jericho took a timeout and caught Ambrose coming back in the ring. Late in the match, Ambrose climbed to the top and Jericho pushed him, and Ambrose jarred his knee. Owens rolled him up for the victory, and that is where I believe the cameras stopped filming.

* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz with Maryse kick off SmackDown with an in-ring segment. It ends with Miz trying to attack and Reigns launching him out of the ring

* Sami Zayn, Cesaro and WWE United States Champion Kalisto defeated Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio by count out. Rusev and Del Rio end up walking out on Sheamus as The League of Nations breaks up

* Natalya and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte will be on The Ambrose Asylum later tonight

* Baron Corbin squashed Damien Sandow

* Dean Ambrose comes out for The Ambrose Asylum with Natalya, Charlotte and Ric Flair.

* Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. The Social Outcasts is next. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day came out first for a big pop. They joined commentary and made Byron Saxton sit on the floor. Big pops for Enzo and Cass' pre-match promos as well. During the match, The Vaudevillains came out to watch from the stage. Enzo and Cass picked up the win

* Apollo Crews defeated Stardust

* – Roman Reigns def. The Miz via DQ. The main event match ended when Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interfered and attacked Reigns. The Usos and AJ Styles hit the ring and they brawl to close out the show.

* The Highlight Reel kicks off SmackDown. Chris Jericho talks about how he put Dean Ambrose in the hospital. He brings out his guest Sami Zayn but they're interrupted by WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Maryse. Jericho throws a fit, calls everyone idiots and walks out. Zayn and Miz scuffle, leading to a match

* Sami Zayn defeated The Miz by DQ. Kevin Owens came out during the match to join commentary. He ended up interrupting the match and attacking Zayn for the disqualification. Cesaro ran out to make the save. He cleared the ring and held the title in the air while staring at Miz

* Backstage segment with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. They tell Styles he needs to get a little extreme if he wants to beat Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. Styles says it's time he had a little chat with Reigns

* The Vaudevillains defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. After the match, Big Cass came out to confront Simon Gotch and Aiden English. He took them both out with powerbombs, then gave one to Axel, and got a good pop

* Natalya and Becky Lynch defeated Emma and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte when Emma tapped to the Sharpshooter. Ric Flair was at ringside

* Styles finds Reigns in the locker room and asks if he's going to get involved in The Usos vs. Gallows and Anderson tonight. Reigns says he's the champion, so he goes where he wants and they are family, so he will do what he wants

* Rusev squashed Zack Ryder. After the match, Lana and Rusev celebrate until WWE United States Champion Kalisto runs down. He nails a corkscrew forearm on Rusev and runs back out

* Backstage segment with Fandango trying to show Goldust new dance moves. R-Truth and Tyler Breeze approach them and end up dancing together

* Darren Young approaches WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund and asks him to be his new life coach. Backlund says yes but Darren needs to realize wrestling is life. Their new catchphrase is "Make Darren Great Again"

* Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson with AJ Styles vs. The Usos with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is next. Overwhelming boos for Reigns. Anderson ends up kicking Reigns in the face while he's standing outside of the ring. Reigns dives into the ring and all hell breaks loose. The match ends in a DQ and turns into a six-man

* Reigns and The Usos defeated Styles, Gallows and Anderson when Reigns speared Anderson for the pin. One of The Usos held Styles' legs so he couldn't break the pin. SmackDown ends with a staredown between Reigns and Styles

Dean Ambrose talked about Monday’s Raw. Chris Jericho’s music hit and the lights went out. When they came back on, Jericho was standing over Ambrose. He put him in a straightjacket and hit him with two Codebreakers.

2. Aiden English defeated Kofi Kingston.

3. The Usos beat Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows by DQ. Gallows and Anderson used a chair for the DQ.

4. R-Truth and Tyler Breeze beat Goldust and Fandango. Fandango turned on Goldust, allowing Tyler Breeze to pin him. Fandango and Breeze attacked Goldust and R-Truth and then walked out together, appearing as if they are joining forces.

5. Kevin Owens and the Miz beat Sami Zayn and Cesaro. Zayn accidentally hit Cesaro with a Heluva kick, which led to Owens and Miz getting the win.



* SmackDown opens with Dean Ambrose cutting a promo in the ring, about how he's even with Chris Jericho now due to Mitch and the light-up jacket being destroyed. Jericho's music hits and the lights go out. They come back on with Jericho already in the ring and Ambrose laid out. Jericho pulls out a strait-jacket and begins beating on Ambrose but doesn't put him in it. Ambrose tries unsuccessfully to fight back. Jericho stands tall as referees separate them.. Jericho stands on the announcer's table and offers the crowd "the gift of Jericho"

* Rusev is backstage ranting about what happened on RAW

* Rusev defeated Sin Cara in a short match, with The Accolade. WWE United States Champion Kalisto was on commentary. Lana came out first and introduced Rusev as the next US Champion. Rusev controlled the early part of the match and just as Cara made a comeback, Lana threw water on Kalisto to distract Cara. Rusev went outside, kicked Kalisto in the back of the head and went back in to finish Cara. Rusev left both Lucha Dragons laying

* Renee Young interviews Emma backstage. She formally introduces Dana Brooke, who will face Becky Lynch tonight

* Dana Brooke defeated Becky Lynch. This was said to be not very impressive. Dana came out with Emma, using Emma's music. She controlled the early part of the match until Becky made a comeback but Dana won with a fluky roll-up off a distraction. The match seemed awfully short and most of the crowd was confused by the sudden ending

* RAW replay of the six-man match

* Backstage segment with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. AJ Styles approaches and promises to take care of Roman Reigns if he interferes in their match against The Usos tonight

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are out to easily the biggest pop of the night so far. The Vaudevillains end up interrupting and we've got a singles match

* Aiden English defeated Kofi Kingston. Kofi started hot but English quickly took control. Decent back and forth action until Simon Gotch got involved. Gotch tried to get involved a second time but Big E and Xavier Woods stopped him. The chaos led to the referee ejecting Gotch, Woods and Big E from the arena. This led to Kofi being distracted and English getting the win with an assist from the ropes

* Backstage segment with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and The Usos. Like AJ did with Gallows and Anderson, Reigns promises to take AJ out if he gets involved tonight

* The Usos defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson by DQ. The Usos started off strong until Gallows grabbed a handful of hair from the apron to turn it around. Anderson and Gallows kept control for a while, even surviving a hot tag. This led to dueling chants for The Usos. The heels controlled a bit more until an Uso superkick led to another hot tag. The crowd was really getting into the match as The Usos ran hot until Gallows hit one with a steel chair for the disqualification. Anderson and Gallows stand tall after a beatdown with chairs, leaving The Usos laying. This was the best match of the night so far, basically tag wrestling 101 but the crowd was hot by the end

* Backstage segments with R-Truth building a selfie stick out of an actual stick with Tyler Breeze, and Fandango trying to teach Goldust to dance

* They air a Life Lessons segment with Bob Backlund and Darren Young. Backlund asks Young what time it is on his watch and Young pulls out his phone to check. This causes Backlund to berate him for trying to make a phone call. Backlund assigns him 200 squats for disobedience

* R-Truth and Tyler Breeze defeated Fandango and Goldust. Truth started with Fandango but Fandango tagged out, leaving Goldust vs. Truth but they don't fight and fans chant "Golden Truth" at them. They still won't fight. Truth ends up tagging out to Breeze but Breeze lays him out. Goldust catches wind but Fandango ends up laying him out, allowing Breeze to get the pin. Officially Gorgeous Truth wins but Fandango and Breeze both beat Goldust down. Truth comes in for the save but also gets beatdown. Fandango and Breeze leave together as Goldust and Truth are left laying

* Another vignette for The Shining Stars (The Colons)

* Renee Young interviews Ric Flair and WWE Women's Champion Charlotte. Charlotte says what happened on RAW was a travesty. Flair promises Charlotte will retain at Extreme Rules

* Cesaro and Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz with Maryse ended in a No Contest. Miz started with Cesaro. Cesaro teased the Swing but Miz escaped and tagged Owens. He came in and Zayn tagged himself in. Owens tried to gag out but Miz drops off the apron and Sami beat Owens down a bit. Cesaro and Zayn hit consecutive big moves on Miz after he tags in but the h eels gain control behind the referee's back. The heels control for a bit before Sami pulls out a desparation Blue Thunder Bomb but he can't get the pin. Cesaro gets a hot tag and takes out Owens and Miz. A Swing attempt on Owens is interrupted by Miz. Sami misses a Helluva Kick on Miz and hits Cesaro by accident. The match devolves into a finisher party as Owens hits the pop-up powerbomb on Sami and Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Owens to stand tall and end the match in a No Contest. Owens recovers and tosses Miz back in the ring for the faces to make up. Cesaro hit a 32 second Swing on Miz and then slingshots him into the corner for a Helluva Kick from Sami. SmackDown ends with everyone cheering for Sami and Cesaro

1. Kevin Owens beat Cesaro. Sami Zayn and The Miz were guest color commentators for match. Owens got the win via roll up pinfall after both Miz and Zayn interfered.

2. Dana Brooke beat Paige. Becky Lynch sat in at the announcers table. Dana won via pinfall.

3. Dolph Ziggler beat Sheamus. Ziggler won by pinfall. Baron Corbin came out after the match and cut a promo to set up his match with Ziggler at Extreme Rules.

Chris Jericho cut a promo and had the Asylum cage lowered. Dean Ambrose, who was disguised as a worker lowering the cage, snuck up behind Jericho and attacked him. Ambrose climbed the cage and got a kindo stick. Ambrose got a few kendo stick shots in before Jericho ran out of the cage door.

4. New Day and Big Cass beat The Dudley Boyz and The Vaudevillains in an eight-man tag match. Big Cass pinned Bubba Ray to give his team the win.

AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson came to ring. Enter the Usos and Roman Reigns. All six men had a standoff in the ring before the singles match.

5. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns (w/The Usos) fought Luke Gallows (w/AJ Styles, Karl Anderson) to an apparent DQ. All heck breaks loose and the match ended in a disqualification. The taping concluded with Reigns and Styles alone in the ring with chairs.

The Usos, AJ Styles and Karl Anderson taunted each other all through the match, leading to everything falling apart. Referees break it up and Reigns is left in the ring with Styles. They grab steel chairs but swing at the same time and AJ drops his. AJ nails a pele kick and a chair shot to the back, knocking Reigns out of the ring. Styles stands tall to end SmackDown

* Michael Cole opens SmackDown in the ring with a Money In the Bank briefcase. He talks about Extreme Rules and has a guest, Dean Ambrose. Ambrose talks about The Asylum and how he destroyed Chris Jericho. Kevin Owens interrupts and tells Cole to get the hell out of his ring. Owens says he is winning Money In the Bank. Sami Zayn interrupts and says the same thing, no one can stop him. Alberto Del Rio comes out and says he's going to become a two-time MITB winner. A brawl breaks out between Ambrose, Owens and Sami as Alberto watches from the ramp

* Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder in a MITB qualifying match. Del Rio won a decent match with the cross armbreaker

* Big Cass and Enzo Amore come out to a big pop. They cut promos but The Dudley Boyz interrupt. Enzo talks trash to both but it was hard to hear what he said due to audio issues. The segment leads to The Dudleyz backing down from a match

* Rusev and Lana are interviewed in the back. Rusev says Kalisto has no chance of beating him tonight

* WWE United States Champion Rusev retained over Kalisto with The Accolade in a good back and forth match. After the match, Titus O'Neil hits the ring to make the save for Kalisto and challenges Rusev for the title but Rusev wants no part of it

* Natalya vs. Dana Brooke ends in less than one minute. WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, who was on commentary, interrupted the match and Natalya put her in a Sharpshooter. Dana and Charlotte double teamed Natalya before leaving

* AJ Styles is interviewed backstage and asked what's next. He simply says he doesn't know and walks off

* They air a Golden Truth video package

* R-Truth and Goldust vs. Fandango and Tyler Breeze is next

* Fandango and Tyler Breeze defeated R-Truth and Goldust with a roll up. The crowd chanted "what the hell?" at one point

* Seth Rollins comes out to a huge pop and cuts a promo. He says it's great to be back on SmackDown and asks if fans missed him. He can't say the same for the fans and the boos start up. Rollins walks off after a short 2 minute segment

* Cesaro vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz with Maryse is next.

* The Miz retained the WWE Intercontinental Title over Cesaro. Miz won with the Skull Crushing Finale in what was said to be an excellent main event. Miz and Maryse celebrated on the ramp to end SmackDown
