Doppia seduta d'allenamento per il Palermo, che ha proseguito oggi il percorso d'avvicinamento al match di domenica contro la Fiorentina. Questa mattina al ''Tenente Onorato'' di Boccadifalco, per i rosanero un lavoro a gruppi tra tattica in campo ed esercizi atletici. Nel pomeriggio, invece, per la squadra di Bortoluzzi esercizi tecnici seguiti da partite a tema. La seduta è stata conclusa da una partita in porzione ridotta del campo. Allenamento differenziato programmato per Alessandro Gazzi, Carlos Embalo, Bruno Henrique ed Ilija Nestorovski.
Serie B: Il presidente del Frosinone: "ll 10 giugno avremo il nuovo stadio"

"Noi rispondiamo con i fatti, ogni giorno allo stadio ci sono centinaia di persone. Non ci sono difficoltà, tranne quelle di carattere pratico che arrivano normalmente per le esigenze di ogni impresa. Io ritengo che entro il 10 di giugno lo stadio sarà completato. Quando sarò pronta la pancia dello stadio faremo la conferenza li dentro". Così Maurizio Stirpe sullo stadio in conferenza.

La stampa indiana riporta il comunicato di Baccaglini

La strategia comunicativa di Paul Baccaglini fuoriesce dai confini nazionali e rivolge il proprio sguardo ancora una volta in direzione della lontana India, dove sembra esserci interesse per l'esito della trattativa relativa alla cessione del club di Maurizio Zamparini. Infatti, il quotidiano di Nuova Delhi The Indian Express, riporta il comunicato apparso ieri sul sito ufficiale del Palermo Calcio in un articolo titolato: “Palermo president denies takeover trouble, blasts players” ("Il presidente del Palermo nega i problemi di acquisizione e distrugge i giocatori"). L'articolo rimbalza in India anche attraverso la Reuters, l'agenzia di stampa britannica, edizione India. L'ipotesi più plausibile e l'interesse da parte di potenziali investitori indiani nei confronti del Palermo Calcio. Difatti, in un passato recente c'era stata la richiesta della due diligence da parte di una Banca d’affari indiana. Ciò non esclude però che la strategia di comunicazione messa in atto dalla società possa portare ad altre strade o fare un buco nell'acqua.
Ecco l'articolo in inglese della Reuters Edizione India che racconta esattamente cosa sta succedendo al Palermo prevedendo l'imminente retrocessione in serie B dell'attuale società:
«Palermo's new president Paul Baccaglini denied on Tuesday that his takeover of the Sicilian club had run into trouble and blasted his players for lack of effort, warning that many of them would not be "part of the future" there.
Baccaglini responded to Italian media reports as he declared that lawyers and bankers were working hard behind the scenes to finish the takeover by April 30, as previously announced.
The US-born businessman agreed in March that his fund would take over the struggling club, which is almost certain to be relegated to Serie B at the end of the season, and he replaced Maurizio Zamparini as president.
The charismatic Zamparini had overseen around 40 coaching changes during 15 turbulent years at the club.
"I find it necessary to explain the current situation and to quieten those who break the silence with allegations based on their own fantasy," said Baccaglini, in a statement issued by the club.
"There are lawyers, bankers and technical experts who are working hard to finalise the operation within the established timeframe.
"In the meantime, we are working hard to plan next season when we must have the strong, competitive team which this club deserves."
Palermo, who have employed five coaches this season, are 19th in 20-team Serie A with 16 points, 13 adrift of safety, and will be relegated if they lose at home to Fiorentina on Sunday.
They have lost eight and drawn two of their last 10 games and were hammered 6-2 at Lazio on Sunday.
"It is undeniable that the squad I inherited presents enormous problems when it comes to character. I am not evaluating the players as men, but as players who step on to the field every Sunday," said Baccaglini.
"Their performances have been absolutely disappointing and despite all attempts to shake them up and get results, we have not seen the reaction we asked for.
"It's therefore undeniable that many of the players in the current squad will not be part of the future of Palermo, which owes its fans and history a more consistent and impressive performance.»
